We provide emergency, temporary housing for victims of domestic abuse. To do this, we use commercial housing (hotels) for up to ten days. During this time, our goal is to find long-term, permanent housing for a victim using community resources, such as shelters, assisted living facilities for homeless women, and/or rental properties.we also provide long-term rental and housing assistance. This, we accomplish by providing financial assistance for rent, utilities, security deposits, first and last month's rent, and relocation costs, as well as furniture for clients moving into their first home or apartment.
We assist clients with minor car repairs and provide transportation using commercial transportation companies.
Through our "food on The table" meal program, we feed up to 20 families bi-weekly. Meals are sourced from a local food kitchen and distributed to The families we serve on a bi-weekly basis for 10 months of The year. For two months of The year, june and july, we provide families with four meals each month. This is to supplement meals for The families we serve when children are out of school.we provide food for victims of domestic abuse who are in emergency shelter.
