Program areas at Womens Center for Entrepreneuship Corporation
WCEC presented 191 training sessions and 608 hours of one-on-one business coaching to 1,186 total clients and helped its clients raise $108,274 in grants and loans to help them start or grow their businesses.
WCEC conducted an annual State of Women Business Owners virtual event with a keynote speech by Governor Phil Murphy and presentations on digital marketing and grants and loans for your business to 110 clients. This event allowed the Organization to raise sponsorship funding which the Organization was able to reinvest into its program delivery.
WCEC received an award from the NJ Department of Corrections and developed a program to deliver entrepreneurship education to court involved women in the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility or those who have recently been released from prison.
