Program areas at Women's International League for Peace and Freedom UNO

Wps programme: in 2022, the wilpf women, Peace, and security (wps) programme advocated for feminist Peace, Women's participation in peacemaking, feminist and gender transformative work on conflict prevention. The program activated our wps agenda through advocacy for the understanding of gendered power and meaningful participation for women, challenging and monitoring militarised thinking, systems and technologies of war, contributing to strengthening the Peace movement through the wilpf sections and partners, and advocating and monitoring on the improvement of multilateral actions.
Uno admin: in 2022, Uno admin worked with the staff on their human resource requirements and supported the programs by ensuring timely submission of narrative and financial reports to all the donors. The program also administered the kay camp fellowships.
Reaching critical will program: in 2022, rcw participated actively in the first meeting of states parties to the treaty on the prohibition of nuclear weapons, providing advocacy for its action plan and declaration. Rcw also continued to provide advocacy to and report on negotiations of a political declaration on the use of explosive weapons in populated areas, which was finally adopted in june 2022.. rcw collaborated with wilpf's human rights team, environment focal point, feminist political economy focal point, masculinities team, women, Peace, and security team, and mena team on advocacy and research.
