Program areas at Women's Studio Workshop
Artist's Book Publishing - Dedicated to artists creating handmade books in editions of at least 50. During the 40 plus years of the program, Women's Studio Workshop, Inc. has cultivated a collection of over 225 artists' books, which include both traditional book structures and sculptural objects.
Workspace Residencies - Opportunity for artists to create new work and fully immerse themselves in Women's Studio Workshop, Inc.'s supportive environment. Invitations are offered to artists at any stage of their careers. This residency gives artists the gift of time, an uninterrupted period to live and work away from the stresses of daily life.
Summer Art Institute An eight-week program that provides professional artists with week long intensive workshops in papermaking, printmaking, and book arts. Instructors for Summer Art Institute are leaders in their fields and come to teach at Womens Studio Workshop, Inc. from around the world. In addition to workshops held at Womens Studio Workshop, Inc.'s studios, we provide at least one international workshop every other year.
All other programs including Summer Art Institute, Programming, Apprenticeships, Archive, Art-in-Ed, Gallery & Exhibitions and Online Events & Workshops.
