WOW Gallery - WOW Gallery has become a cultural destination experience attracting community, organizations, schools, corporations, and tourists from around the world. Visitors cannot help saying "WOW" repeatedly after walking through the gallery doors. WOW has the mission to travel the exhibition internationally so that communities and people from the diaspora to the Continent can experience this powerfully inspiring body of work. WOW International offers, a place of reflection and release where you can feel seen and liberated to learn in a space that unapologetically centers Blackness.
Healing Suites Collection - Created Healing Suites Collection to empower the community with self care tools that disrupt the rotation of trauma and grief with simple yet powerful therapeutic tools centered in African ancestry. The suite create space for respite, learning, inspiration, and reflection. We purchased our first collection of art to accompany the suites from South African artist Anjo entitled 'Dear Little Sista' to create a healing program for young Black girls. The Healing Suites Collection also features our Artist in Residence program to promote opportunities for marginalized Black women artists
Dear Sista, I See You Healing Arts Exhibition - The Dear Sista, I See You. Exhibit helps to fulfill WOW's mission by providing culturally centered healing art events, retreats, professional development, publications, curriculum, and products that empowers community with Afrocentric experiences, practices, and cultural healing pathways to help disrupt emotional, racial, and grief traumas.
South Africa Program - The vision for WOW International came to founder and visionary Veronica Very during a visit to South Africa in 2014. Our mission is to build a bridge of healing, education and liberation between our countries through story time and art. We have cultivated strong relationships through healing circles, retreats and events. We now have a location in Sandhurst where we have created a healing villa for rest, renewal, restoration, reflection and rejuvenation for Black women and couples.
