Program areas at Woodford County Farm Bureau
Health and safety programs are an emphasis of the organization. We hold programs that create awareness of the importance of safe lifestyles and utilizing safe practices while on the Farm. Whether they are young or old, from the Farm or not, there is something for everyone with these programs.
Members receive our monthly and quarterly newsletters, the Farm Bureau review, where they are invited to programs and are made aware of issues and offers that are available to them as Farm Bureau members. This is done in an effort to create a membership base that is active and growing in addition to being an organization that has value.
The Farm Bureau's agricultural literacy goals are to inform and educate our community about the food and fiber industry, the Farm Bureau's role in the industry, and the processes involved in food production so that they might be better decision makers and consumers.
