Program areas at Woodstock Animal Foundation
2023 was another stellar year for Woodstock Animal Foundation. Our clinic location in lexington held strong and steady, performing 4,980 companion Animal surgeries from january to december. Inflation continued to drive up demand for the many other low-cost veterinary services provided by our clinic in lexington as well. Woodstock's mobile surgery team, which operates primarily in under-served rural counties, spayed and neutered an additional 1,044 pets throughout the state of Kentucky. This was again an increase, up from 949 done the previous year. Additionally, in 2023 our rescue divisions found homes for 566 pets, the majority of whom had been facing euthanasia in rural shelters.
