The mission of wordxword is to celebrate the transformative power of words - written, spoken and sung; to engage diverse groups in cutting-edge, live performances as both audience and participants; and to encourage the next generation of performers and writers through education and outreach. Wordxword celebrates diversity, the creative use of language and the experience of community using spoken Word, poetry and storytelling in celebration of the indivudual, to bridge differences and connect people.
