Workfaith Birmingham

Job-readiness and career-developing programs and 10-day workshops serving the chronically unemployed of Birmingham, Alabama; 1,300 workshop graduates and 1,002 job placements to-date.in 2023, wfb co-organized and co-sponsored two second chance job fairs that impacted over 550 job seekers in jefferson county that have been impacted by the criminal justice system. This represented over 450 job offers spanning both events.in 2023, wfb staff spent nearly 700 hours serving 1,300+ clients in services outside of regular workshop time. These include additional job search counseling, mock interview practice, mentorship, and resume preparation.

Wfb launched magic city pipeline in 2023 which partners extended essential skills training with hard skill certifications through a partner organization. The first hard skll is information technology certifications.
