Workshop middle school is an innovative progressive school for creative, curious, and big-hearted students in 6th-8th grades. Students learn advanced academic skills and durable character strengths in a diverse, equitable, and connected community. Our summer camp programs help students deepen and develop academic, technical, and socioemotional skills. Imaginecamp!, our day camp program for rising 3rd-5th graders, helps young people dream, design, and engineer personal passion projects. Imaginecamp! Is inspired by Workshop middle school's genius hour, an innovative project-based curriculum for creative and curious minds. Sleepaway!, our overnight camp, helps students learn valuable social and survival skills through outdoor activities and expeditions. They learn to persevere through challenges, make careful decisions, solve problems, and work together as a team. Sleepaway! Is developed in partnership with trail blazers camp. We believe that every child has genius! Our after-school programs help students discover, develop, and deepen their personal genius. Maker education helps students learn essential academic skills, professional and technical competencies, and positive character traits. Workshop Project programs challenge, engage, and inspire students to learn well and do good.workshop institute, our professional learning community, helps teachers master the principles of highly effective curriculum and instruction. Our immersive professional development programs in project-based learning, collaborative learning, and Workshop instruction, help teachers dramatically improve teaching and learning.
