World Carp is an international campus-based organization that raises young leaders of character who live for the greater good and build a culture of true love. We strive for personal excellence through challenging our limitations and practicing a principled lifestyle. We believe that enduring relationships, based on the model of true family, will build toward lasting peace whithin the larger community and the World. Through serving the campus community, we advocate and develop moral and ethical relationships in preparation for family life and career.

Program areas at World CARP

In the year 2023, World Carp Inc. held 4 x major seasonal leadership training conferences so far, 48 x weekly team building alignment seminars, and 10 x volunteer service programs were accomplished throughout the year. Seasonal ledaership conference the winter leadership conference initially started on december 3 until january 5, 2023, that was held in knoxville, tn leaded by the iltp director hyung ki kim. There were 20 participants who joined together. For the beginning of the program, mr. kim gave an orientation and a message to welcome the new year, followed by a new year's eve celebration where the participants showcase their talents and enjoy the entertainment. The next days each participants gave their testimony about their experience on the recent pilgrimage tour. For the recreation, the participants enjoyed winter sports activities like snowtubing, in addition they also tour the beautiful downtown of knoxville. The spring leadership conference was held at ny/nj family church in north haledon, nj on april 9 to 13, 2023. A total of 17 participants and 3 hq staff gathered on the said event. Carp regional director shogo nakaza has given a presentation about how to build a foundation where young people can commit consistently. He talks about the foundation of faith as one of the important keys to developing personal character. Ms. cynthia nakai gave her testimony about her long-term service in the community, she has been doing volunteer work since she was in college. Several participants gave their testimony from the previous month of training. For their recreation, the participants visited the statue of liberty in new york city and stopped over to overlook sceneries in new jersey. Summer leadership conference was held in denver, co on july 9 to 16, 2023. A total of 18 participants attended the event including one, the iltp director mr. hyung ki kim. Before starting the daily schedule, one assistant leader was assigned to open the day. Rev. Michael hentrich, a senior pastor of denver Colorado family church was the main speaker of the event. He gave a presentation on some parts of the divine principle, specifically on chapter 2 the fall. This topic talks about how the youth can keep their purity until marriage and develop mature character in creating an ideal family. The h3 trainees were assigned to give a presentation on a certain topic relating to what they have learned from the previous classroom lessons. In the afternoon, participants were going for a half day recreation where they visited various national parks around denver, such as garden of the gods and rocky mountain state park, they also did an adventurous activity like river rafting, and in the evening each participant are giving their testimony from the month of training. Fall leadership conference was held in hurricane, ut from october 8 to 12, 2023. There were 20 participants who joined in the said event. On october 8, iltp attended the nationwide event of ffwpu that was held in las vegas, nv. The keynote speaker was the wife of the late founder of the movement, dr. hak ja han moon entitled resurgence: hyojeong in the era of true mother's embrace, participated by the rest of young-adult members of ffwpu-usa, after the successful event iltp proceeded to the main event of the conference in hurricane, ut. On october 9, rev. Hentrich gave a zoom presentation tackling the deeper understanding book of the divine principle specifically chapter i: the purpose of creation and chapter ii: the fall. In the evening, each participant had a chance to share their testimony on their previous pilgrimage tour from different cities, everyone guaranteed that they had fun and have learned a lot from their experiences. For the recreation, they visited 2 beautiful national parks in the area, which the zion national park in springdale, ut, and bryce canyon national park in tropic, ut. As the conclusion of the program iltp held a cultural night where some participants offer a dance and sing number followed by the pvsa awarding ceremony for the graduating participants. The kickoff event of winter leadership conference 2024 started on december 30, 2023 as iltp participants prepared to celebrate new year's eve. Service project activities on january 3, 2023, for the new year celebration, 13 volunteers including mr. hyung ki kim, iltp director participated in a service project organized by houston food bank in houston tx. The volunteers sorted out things in 6 categories such as dry foods, canned goods, snacks, condiments, and drinks. The food will be given out to 11,000 families around houston. On january 16, 2023, a total of 14 iltp participants joined the march for the annual mlk day parade that was held in lawrenceville, ga to commemorate the great works of dr. martin luther king. On january 20, 2023, martin luther king, jr. volunteer service day, iltp held volunteer service projects was held with the cooperation of path organization 4 volunteers worked together to paint a house offer to less fortunate family. On february 23, 2023, there were 9 iltp volunteers participating on a service project conducted by the mustard seed of central Florida in orlando. The mustard seed of central Florida's mission is to help rebuild the lives of families or individuals who have suffered disaster or personal tragedy by providing household furnishings and clothing while being environmentally responsible to the community. On february 28, 2023, iltp participants from the philippines, thailand, tuvalu, japan, malaysia, solomon islands and kyrgyzstan came to visit the diaper bank of north carolina to help packing some of sanitary napkins that will be given out to the public-school partners through their period power initiative. The activity was oriented by mr. avery payne, dbnc local leader, who enthusiastically guided each volunteer about the things they needed to do, from packing the period products and putting them in the package. The volunteers successfully packed 37 boxes with over 8,600 pads. In the celebration of national arbor month 32 participants including iltp volunteers joined together for an arbor day tree planting on march 17, 2023. In line with the durnhan beautiful project of north carolina 8 participants including iltp volunteers worked together to clean up the bioretention system. It was held on march 25, 2023. Bioretention systems are used to remove a wide range of pollutants, such as suspended solids, nutrients, metals, hydrocarbons, and bacteria from stormwater runoff. They can also be used to reduce peak runoff rates and increase stormwater infiltration when designed as a multi-stage, multi-function facility. On april 1, 2023, 5 iltp participants joined to run drive coordinated by tax personnel in lorton, va. on july 20, 2023, 3 iltp participants volunteered for a clean-up drive. The staff and partners at dfnwr work year-round to maintain and enhance refuge lands and programs for both wildlife and the community. The conservation toolbox includes controlling invasive species, restoring degraded habitat, creating new habitat, providing artificial nesting habitat, and seasonally or permanently closing some lands to provide undisturbed areas for wildlife. On august 14, 2023, another successful service project was held in rapid city, sd where 5 iltp participants had a chance to volunteer for a food packing project leaded by feeding south dakota, the state's largest hunger-relief organization, with a mission to end hunger in south dakota. This program is providing food in all 66 counties of the state and fighting hunger in rural communities, metro areas and native american reservations. Weekly team building activities iltp participants are simultaneously conducting weekly activities to develop their leadership, good character, and learning about culture and diversity fresh from different cities of each state. On witnessing outreach program, the participants are approaching people and share about iltp and god's words, they also do some peace survey to get people's opinion about promoting peace and the future of america. On practice lecture, the participants are preparing to give a short presentation basically divine principle and sharing some certain topics related to leadership training. Lastly, to connect on the roots of america, the iltp participants had a chance to visit such as historical places, churches, and museums.
