2022 relief accomplishmentsin 2022 wck served millions of fresh meals to people impacted by natural disasters and humanitarian crises around the World in more than 30 countries including ukraine, poland, romania, moldova, the philippines, tonga, venezuela, and the united states. Additionally, wck trained chefs and school cooks; advanced clean cooking practices; and awarded grants to farms, fisheries, and small food businesses while also providing training and networking opportunities through its programs in the caribbean and Central america.continued on schedule o.by partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks, restaurants and/or emergency kitchens, and with the help of thousands of local contractors and volunteers, wck's relief team served nearly 200 million of freshly prepared meals in 2022.good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.
