World Family Foundation

We provided full support for 29 female and male students (kindergarten, primary and high school), ages 5 through 21, including housing, food, clothing, medical care, tutoring, tuition, books, school uniforms, school supplies and transportation costs. This funding also paid for 24-hour caregiving and other support staff for the residential students, site maintenance costs, supplementation of teacher and tutor salaries, and for cultural activities and training for the students. Additionally, we provided school and personal supplies and transportation costs for 7 students attending university post-grad internships and vocational training. Other accomplishments include: 1. Provided medical and dental care for the children. 2. Conducted regular teacher training workshops.

Inaugurated the second floor of prashanti international school (pis).built a wooden stage in the pis meeting hall for school assemblies and performances. Installed a large diesel generator at pis to address the frequent power cuts and for emergencies. Purchased a backup supply of diesel fuel. Furnished the pis computer lab with 20 desktop computers with led monitors and peripherals, computer tables with electrical fittings, ups battery backup and printer. Provided new upgraded multifunction high-capacity laser printer/scanner for pis administration office. Provided 5 almirah steel locking cabinets for classrooms.installed a reverse osmosis drinking water purification unit for the 2nd floor of pis. Built a large exterior handicap ramp from the ground to the second floor at pis for use by students, staff, and visitors.installed a cctv security system for student safety with outdoor cameras and a monitor in the school office, plus a 5-year maintenance contract.
