The wtcgp helps companies seeking to expand globally and international companies interested in doing business in the Greater Philadelphia region. The wtcgp assists companies, largely small and medium-sized exporting businesses, in the five counties of southeastern Pennsylvania and eight counties of southern new jersey by providing individual Trade counseling, market research, Trade mission support, educational programs, business networking events, and access to powerful worldwide connections to customers and partners worldwide. The wtcgp is a critical catalyst for economic growth and job creation for Greater Philadelphia, serving as a trusted advisor with international expertise and worldwide connections to inspire and empower companies to think and succeed globally. In 2022, the wtcgp provided Trade counseling services to over 108 companies, largely small and medium-sized businesses, and conducted 20 educational events and seminars, including an annual global business conference, attracting over 550 participants. In 2022, companies in Pennsylvania and new jersey assisted by the wtcgp reported over $98m in incremental export sales, supporting 823 jobs in the region. Every $1 of wtcgp spending in 2022 helped generate $100 in exports by companies in Greater Philadelphia.
