Wsia Diversity Foundation was organized for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, or to carry out the purposes of wholesale & specialty insurance association. Wsia Diversity Foundation initiatives and partnerships include:- investments in the development of risk management and insurance (rmi) programs at historically black colleges and universities- collaboration with other industry trade and professional associations to partner, where possible, toward consistent Diversity, equity, and inclusivity goals(continued on schedule o)- annual summer internship program- annual academic scholarships- grants to existing college/university risk management and insurance programs advancing our Diversity goals- student symposiums- support of gamma iota sigma (gis), the gis Foundation and its focus on a more diverse talent pipeline for the industry - support of the global dive in festival, a global movement in the insurance sector to support the development of inclusive workplace cultures-support of the national veterans chamber of commerce -support and partnership with the naic dei initiatives-inclusive culture initiatives including mentorship, inclusive leadership
