Client consultations and direct representation regarding immigration issues- in 2023, Wyoming Immigrant Advocacy Project served 17 clients, including 6 victims of domestic abuse & other crimes and 6 asylum seekers. The clients served included 7 children who had been abused, neglected or abandoned by at least one parent.
Volunteer attorney training
Community education and outreach - no programs were offered in 2023 but will be in 2024.
Community Advocacy - the organization advocates on behalf of immigrants in spaces where they are experiencing discrimination or mistreatment that is based on a misunderstanding of the law. In 2023 the organization assisted one organization with misinterpreting people's immigration paperwork.
