Program areas at XBOT Robotics
FIRST Robotics Comp. (FRC): 15 high school students, primarily from South Seattle, WA, worked with professional engineer mentors to design, build, program and compete with a 120 lb. robot. Advanced to First World Championship.
STEAM Workshops: 12 students from South Seattle, WA worked with professional engineer mentors to learn programming (primarily Java), CAD, and electrical concepts geared towards robotics but applicable in other areas as well.
First Tech Challenge (FTC): 15 high school students on two teams from two South Seattle high schools designed, built and programmed small robots to compete.
