Program areas at Yahara Pride Farms

Sixty Farms are either Yahara Pride certified or or in the process of being certified. The Yahara Pride Farms certification process measures field, land and stream conservation,crop and soil fertility and assesses facilities to evaluate environmental risks and beneficial practices. Farms become certified after earning at least eighty percent of the available points. The program recognizes good practices already in place and identifies areas where improvements to the land are viable.
