Yakona Nature Preserve

Yakona Nature Preserve & Learning Center is a privately owned property focused primarily on education and offers limited public access to their trails by escort. The organization was created to restore native coastal forest on Oregon's Yaquina Bay and serves as a living laboratory that protects, preserves, and enhances the natural ecosystems and cultural history of Oregon's central coast spruce habitat and its wildlife through the arts, education, and stewardship. Yakona Nature Preserve is a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation while Yakona Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) public charity.
