Program areas at Queen City Robotics Alliance
YETI Robotics started in 2011 and is one of the original teams. In 2023, team YETI served over 70 students for its year-long program and mentored a rookie team, Avian Robotics. Both won awards for outstanding performance and advanced to State Championship.
QCRA leverages the FIRST robotics program to advance STEM education, supporting approximately 20 middle and high school robotics teams comprising 300 students. In addition to coaching and mentoring these teams, QCRA serves as the fiscal sponsor, overseeing funds and expenses. Collaboratively, we conduct fundraising initiatives to reduce participation costs for families facing financial constraints. Furthermore, our extensive outreach efforts promote STEM education and career opportunities, reaching over 5,000 individuals annually.
