Winter boat building workshopwhere we keep tradional greenland style boat building alive, producing 5-8 skin-on-frames kayaks each year
Free kayak excursions for Yonkers youth and adults, given at jfk public marina, thursday june, july & august: in pool training during the winter. Summer training at our lake sebago cabin for safety, wet exits, rescues and tratitional rolling skills.
Year round storage for 160 kayaks at two locations, 230 days on water dock access for 200 members and invited public. Weekly guided tours of the hudson river for new paddles, and on water safety
