York College of Pennsylvania is recognized as one of the best regional universities in the north (us news and world report and princeton review), reflected by the excellence of our programs, the quality of our 168 fulltime faculty, with 90% holding their terminal degree, the 13:1 student to faculty ratio, 19 student average class size and 70+ majors and the distinctiveness of our approximately 3,300 fulltime students. York College is recognized for the over 800 graduates per year who are competent, engaged professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit prepared to compete in the global arena. York country day school, an integral part of the College, is a pre-k through grade twelve independent College preparatory school inspiring and nurturing the innovative and creative spirit of students as they pursue their intellectual promise. Students at ycds are authentic, dedicated learners who seek their personal truths, pursue their academic passions, and actively engage in dialogue that fosters understanding and unity within the school community and beyond. The signature programs include capstone 5812, service learning, steam, ycds College connect, and the center for wellness enhances the vibrant and engaging academic experience.
