Youcanfreeus foundations mission continues to be rescue and rehabilitation of victims of modern slavery. Our work against modern slavery continues. In 2022, we operated 4 safehouses where victims of trafficking received 24/7 care, therapy, and rehabilitation. In 2022, Youcanfreeus also launched a child development center where 180 vulnerable children at risk of being sold into modern slavery receive education, health care, and nutrition. In 2022, Youcanfreeus launched compassion ukraine, an initiative to bring hope to the people of ukraine who are suffering due to the war. Our work involved sending food, medical supplies, generators, and other relief aid to romania, western ukraine, and moldova refugee camps. We started working with widows of the war, including buying apartments and vehicles for the widows and resettling them in western ukraine. We also conducted a usa border patrol appreciation event in eagle pass, Texas, to recognize the hard work and effort to combat cross-border trafficking at the us-mexico border. Youcanfreeus served 750 victims of human trafficking, 189 at-risk children at udaan - our child development center, over 50,000 people through our compassion ukraine campaign, and approximately 150 usa border patrol agents at our eagle pass thanksgiving appreciation event.
