Young Aspiring Americans for Social and Political Activism encourages and supports disengaged and underserved youth to actively participate in their communities. Their mission is to create political and social awareness regarding issues that affect the community, with the goal of making positive changes. YAASPA has several programs such as Engaged to Climb Youth Advisory Council, Social Sciences & Policy Institute, Y Incubator, ABC Coalition, and the Centering Community Wellness and Resilience Program which have involved over 300 students.
