Youth development - cultivating the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement. 99 youth found a place to belong through a ymca membership, 587 youth developed life saving skills in swim lessons, 5,000 youth learned the value of teamwork through sports, 432 youth experienced enrichment in before- and after-school care, and 821 youth nurtured new friendships and skills at summer camp.
Social responsibility - fostering the care and respect that all people need and deserve by developing skills and emotional well-being through education and training, welcoming and connecting diverse demographic populations through global services, and preventing chronic disease and building healther communities through collaborations with policymakers. We have invested over $300,000 in charitable support to the community, including approximately 117 members that benefit from financial assistance.
Healthy living - a mission centered on balance by bringing families closer together, encouraging good health and fostering connections through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests. As a result, youth, adults and families are receiving the support, guidance, and resources needed to achieve improved health and well-being for their spirit, mind and body.the ymca has 3 family-friendly membership centers and 2 corporate centers, with over 95,000 square feet of space for people to improve their health. We have over 14,000 members growing in spirit, mind and body, with 130 weekly group exercise classes fostering accountability and community, and 50 group exercise instructors encouraging members in their goals.
