Community development: these programs are held within The building and as outreach in locations around The community where needs are The greatest. Financial literacy, Young leaders' academy, teen achievers, and college tours, The fatherhood initiatives are included as well as a variety of programs that meet time specific needs. The central focus of these programs is to foster growth and development, not only in children, but also in their parents and families. The educational programs help children develop moral and ethical behavior, self esteem and leadership.
Aquatics: a group of programs that are delivered through The use of swimming activities in develpoing and maintaining participants health, physical fitness and well being. Additionally, swimming lessons and water safety activities promote safe health options and building self-esteem.
Membership: The Ymca is essentially a membership Association. A variety of membership options are available for individuals and families for use of The facility in pursuit of heath, wellness & skill development. At The heart of The Ymca membership is The creation of a sense of community & belonging that will lead people to be healthier , more commited community members.
Health enhancement: comprenhensive & diverse programs are designed for adults and youth with The primary ojective being to develop & maintain The well being of participants by improving their health & physical wellness through good exercise & health education. Programs are offered at The Ymca & in numerous locations around The community.
Sports and recreation: through a variety of sports related activities, youth and adults are offered opportunities to develop skills in both competitive and non-competitive programs, but at The heart of what's learned is more than The skills. The Ymca's deeper objective is teaching values; it's The respect, honest, caring and responsability that The Ymca works to instill in particpants
