Your Store of the Queen City

Your Store of the Queen City empowers neighborhood-based entities to expand fresh food access and create community-based jobs. It supports the development and networking of resident-centered, culturally and economically inclusive enterprises. In its first full year of community operations, it developed Meiser's Fresh Grocery & Deli social enterprise, organized free food giveaways, and participated in a citywide hunger intervention partner co-learning initiative. It covered operation expenses along with costs of goods sold.
