Coloring Futures: 121 annual scholarships to students across 16 schools in Cambodia, Haiti, India, and Nepal; ESL enrollment and support for YH Scholars; art tablets to underserved students in Oakland, California; high school robotics program, multi-grade book distributions, and YH Family Literacy nights benefiting more than 1,500 students at multiple elementary schools in Concord, California.
Bridging Gaps: To close the digital divide and advance technological literacy, YH funded computer centers in Cambodia, Haiti, and Nepal, serving hundreds of impoverished students with computers, dependable internet service, and computer science instructors; funded a library and activity center in Kathmandu, Nepal. Also funded a learning center and playground in Battambang, Cambodia; renovated an all-girls school in Uttarakhand, India, in critical need of safety and structural repairs and proper furnishings.
