Program areas at Youth Activism Project
YAP's core program is the Activation Hub, an online network created & led by teens to help their peers build the skills, relationships, & resources to lead policy advocacy & organizing campaigns to drive systemic change leading to racial & social justice.
Consulting and Training - YAP provides fee-for-service training workshops and technical assistance to other nonprofits on youth leadership and empowerment practices.
YAP's second core program is support for youth organizers to develop and implement local advocacy campaigns around issues of concern to youth in their community. In 2022, YAP was able to reach over 600 youth across the United States with our civic leadership programming.
