Long Island Youth for Christ's mission is to work with the local church and like-minded individuals to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus Christ. They reach young people everywhere and work together with the local church and other partners to build up teenagers who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God, prayer, and passion for sharing. Liyfc conducts rallies, retreats, seminars, and other activities both within and outside the Long Island area.

Liyfc exists to reach young people in middle, junior high and senior high schools for Christ and to help build them up into mature christian teenagers. It conducts rallies, retreats, seminars and other activities in and out of the Long Island area. The purpose of these special events and activities is to provide more opportunities for young people to hear and respond to the gospel of Christ and to help christian teenagers mature in their faith.
