Youth for Tomorrow Empowered provides tutoring, mentoring, and recreational activities in underprivileged communities to reduce crime and stabilize neighborhoods. The organization strives to keep at-risk youth off the streets with these services. However, due to Covid-19, the organization was unable to perform any of its services because of a lack of volunteers and funding which has severely crippled the organization. Nevertheless, Youth for Tomorrow Empowered is hopeful that it will be able to bring its program back up to full capacity.

Program areas at Youth for Tomorrow Empowered

Tutoring and mentoring has helped youths advance in math and English and have also built self-esteem to deter from gang behavior. We have worked with churches, schools, and daycares in the most poverty-stricken areas which have benefited about 30 youths so far.
