Program areas at Youth Pride
Youth Pride is the only drop-in space in the state of ri solely dedicated to meeting the needs of young lgbtq+ people. In 2023, our drop-in center and connected basic needs pantry (which provides food, clothes, toiletries, and school supplies) serviced more than 900 Youth. Our housing assistance program has also grown in 2023; we were able to provide housing funds to 8 individual households in the form of security deposits, first months rent, and a percentage of their recurring monthly rent. Through our housing program, were able to assist housing insecure, unstably housed, homeless individuals, and people in danger of losing houseing up to the age of 25.
