Youth Sailing Virginia

The learn to sail programs provide everyone in the hampton roads community with a safe, inclusive environment that promotes positive Youth development through Sailing. Ysv helps eliminate socioeconomic barriers to access Sailing by providing scholarships to Youth in financial need. Our programs ensure an inclusive atmosphere that offers accessible educational opportunities through Sailing, along with technical skills through stem courses. The high school Sailing program supports competitive racing, fostering a positive environment where students can engage in healthy competition while developing essential soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication, and conflict resolution.
