Program areas at Youth Transporation Organization
As of June 2024, YOOTS provided rides for over 70,000 participants to a wide variety of destinations, with 90% of the rides being free to our partners and 100% free to the children and families. As manager of this fund, YOOTS enables requests, purchase tickets and tracks all aspects of each trip, including number of participants, school, class and destination.YOOTS continued participation with Oakland Goes Outdoors (OGO), a program with the Oakland Unified School District to provide transportation logistics to 9000 middle school students in the 2023-2024 school year. Yoots has expanded its partners to include the Richmond Outdoor Coalition, San Mateo County Office of Education & San Francisco County Office of Education.
