After the holidays, the first Winter Junior Silver witnessed 48 boys and girls compete for victory. In February, Greg Gautier, winner of the 2015 world championship, hosted a clinic for our juniors, hitting with them and showing them how they could improve and signed autographs. In May, we hosted the Spring Junior Gold with 151 participants along with the College Showcase. College coaches from the Ivy league and other top schools observed and sought out recruits for their colleges squash rosters. After spending the last month in squash camps, the late July Junior Summer Silver gave boys and girls the opportunity to test their newfound skills. In August, they seized on the opportunity to watch the best squash in the world. In late October, the kick-off Junior Bronze tournament welcomed 33 newly inspired participants. For many of them, it was their first competition. Next, in December, forty-nine competed in the Winter Junior Silver. Altogether, twenty-seven boys and girls achieved national ranking. The highest ranking was ten and several were recruited by Ivy league college squash coaches.
