Zaban Paradies Center for Homeless Couples empowers and assists couples experiencing homelessness or financial vulnerability to achieve lasting self-sufficiency for themselves and their families. Their mission is to provide shelter, basic necessities and counseling services to assist couples transitioning from homelessness to resettlement and independence. Through their emergency residential services program for couples, they help individuals obtain and maintain permanent housing.

Program areas at Zaban Paradies Center for Homeless Couples

The Zaban Paradies Center assisted Couples, families, and individuals with obtaining and maintaining permanent housing through the following programs: emergency residential services program for Couples, family rapid rehousing, and diversion. 61 Couples were sheltered within the Center, 20 of which transitioned to permanent housing. 19 families were housed through the rapid rehousing program using a housing-first model. Lastly, the diversion program assisted 167 households with paying deposits and first month's rent, allowing them to obtain housing.
