Program areas at Camphill Hudson
Residential ira program involves living in extended-family type households, staff and their families create a home together with adults with developmental disabilities. Each person contributes to the home life to the best of their ability. This fosters both independence and interdependence where residents are encouraged to reach their full potential, contribute as they are able and seek their goals in life. Approximately 1,821 units were served in the ira program during the period.
The day habilitation program values each individual's ability to make a contribution to their wider world; participants have a regular and rhythmical schedule both in the center for social arts and out in the Hudson community. Days are spent cooking lunch, engaging in craft or community service work and participating in a vibrant integrated theater program. Approximately 3,874 units were served in the day habilitation program during the period.
Camphill Hudson provides fiscal intermediary services to self directed services - individuals accessing self-directed medicaid services. We support individuals in making decisions about and taking responsibility for maintaining their services. Utilizing a person-centered planning process, self-direction allows individuals freedom to choose supports tailored to their needs, and to take responsibility for managing resources allocated to them. Approximately 53,829 units were served in the self directed services program during the period.
