During Fiscal Year 2021, Catherine McAuley Mercy Foundation (CMMF) provided $342k in funding to Sisters of Mercy Urgent Care (SOMUC) to assist with capital, including updating SOMUC's largest clinic. CMMF also provided $11k of support to SOMUC's compassionate care program which provides a subsidy to under-served and/or under-insured patients at our Urgent Care Centers. CoA provides personal, caring support to individuals 60 and over connecting them with the community resources they need in order to age successfully.
CMMF provided outside support to Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry, ABCCM, by contributing $50k to help support their medical ministry. ABCCM provides access to health care for the under-served in Buncombe County, serving annually around 21,764, or 1 in 12 persons in 2019.
