Program areas at Creative Action
After School - Provides daily programming that uses theatre and art-based curricula to explore social issues, build self-esteem, and enrich students' academic experience in the school system. Students explore diversity through mask and puppet making, act out folktales in world theatre classes, write original performances and create parades in order to learn how to think creatively, work as a team and believe in themselves.
In the Community - Creative Action's customized programs use theatre as a tool to strengthen the community. Projects include interactive workshops and special events such as community events and festivals, summer camps, workshops on specific topics, ongoing projects for specific populations, and presentations at conferences
