Program areas at Friends of Eagle Island

The organization ran a full week of day camp (50 campers) and four weeks of hybrid of day camp (10 campers) and overnight campers (30 campers), as well as family camp programs and two adult weekend programs. Operations were limited by infrastructure since potable water and electricity were only available in the main camp area.
The organization finished the bulk of its second major building rehabilitation contract utilizing grant funds from new york state regional economic development corp. and the us dept of interior's save america treasures program with the project to be closed out in 2023. The organization completed its infrastructure project to extend electricity and potable water and to the adirondack area of the Island, but still needs to complete its septic system upgrade to utilize this area. The organization hosted numerous events open to the public.
