Mastering your marriage:mastering your marriage ("mym") offers a unique approach that combines retreat and respite with new tools that help couples truly begin to thrive in their Service marriages. Service marriages are unique, and no one knows better than our military, veteran, and first responder couples. Tackf knows that if Service marriages are going to truly succeed, they need marriage curriculum that is equally unique.
Empowered spouses a 10-week online group program that encapsulates strength, empowerment, and self-care. The groups session will have no more than 12 women and be facilitated by our tackf coaches and often times an alumni peer leader. Spouses walk through service-related topics while connecting with others who understand and decompressing in a safe environment. With spouse suicides on the rise, tack-f knew that more needed to be done to address the mental health needs of the spouses that are the backbone of force readiness, retention, and stability in the home. Tackf new to be resilient and supportive of her spouse, a wife must first receive the necessary emotional, spiritual, physical, and social support she needs. Military and first responder spouses reported a higher prevalence of mental health challenges than the broader u.s. population and the american psychological association identified a shortage of trained mental health practitioners and quality programs available to focus on challenges military Family members and first responders face.
Strength training (formerly known as revitalization retreat) provides Service couples with 8 online coaching sessions with one of our trained military spouse clinicians. Strength training includes use of the gallup clifton strengths with a tackf coach over 8 sessions. We utilize an 8-session outline alongside the clifton's strengthsfinder assessment to teach couples how to value each other's strengths, work better together as a team, and reduce conflict through better communication. Strength training is in direct alignment with our vision which is to see a world where the uncommon challenges facing Service families are understood and supported. Through our work, and theirs, we will change the world for future generations who will see, with the right tools, there is a world where families can not only survive a life of Service, but they can alsothrive. Strength training (formerly known as revitalization retreat) was the start to the evolution of our 4 sequential programs.
Tackf provides relational tools unique to military and first responder couples. We believe where one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves cultivating the hope and healthy Foundation that impacts the Family legacy.
