Season v 2021-22 highlights:organizational:the nmphil emerged from the pandemic by going back to provide alive performances for audiences at large in albuquedrque and New Mexico. Besides the live performances, there were several performances streamed live on the nmphil now! Platform. Nmphil offered a New concert series during this season: the coffee concerts series taking place on four friday mornings and speciall catering to our retirees audiences who have a difficult time driving in the evening. There were outdoor concerts performed at two New locations, the sky room in rio rancho and botanic garden in albuquerque. Both concerts were either free admission or low-cost admission and atracted a total of 12,000 audience members of all ages. The education initiatives were continued virtually with the licensed performances being offered virtually in the albuquerque public schools. The young musician initiative monday-thursday program taking place virtually every day.while the main classics series as well as rock & pops series took place in the large venue popjeoy hall, the orchestra started rehearsing and performing smaller size orchestra concerts at immanuel presbyterian church. Education-young musician initiative based on el sistema, an in-depth musiclearning initiative. Program takes place at national hispanic culturalcenter. Over 70 children from title one schools participate in the program. -youth concerts continue - 10 concerts including one for autisticchildren.-ensemble visits - continue with 20+ performances.fundraising-corporate sponsorship dollars for the season above $50,000.-$50,000 grant from meredith foundation.-$180,700 grant from albuquerque community foundation.-annual fund drive in excess of $200,000.
