Program areas at Nfi Vermont
Nfi Vermont provided educational services to children and youth grades 1-12 to assist with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Services provided include group therapy, intensive home-school coordination, clinical case management, academic and vocational programming, family therapy and support.
Nfi Vermont provided intensive residential treatment to youth who struggle with severe mental health and behavioral issues. Youth come to our program after struggling at home, in foster homes or residential programs. Typical services include milieu treatment, individual, group and family therapy, crisis response, case management and community reintegration.
Nfi Vermont provided intensive wraparound services to children and families at home and in therapeutic foster homes. The wraparound process is a coordinated process that is designed to help children and families with complex needs involved with multiple providers improve their lives. Typical services include service coordination, community supports, individual and family therapy, group therapy, medication management and foster care respite.
In addition to our three primary types of programs we also provide outpatient assessment and therapy to youth and families, post adoption services to families of youth adopted from state custody, juvenile justice services, youth transition services, and trauma informed organizational consultation.
