Program areas at Texas Association of Secondary School Principals
Ssp conventions & workshops - multiple in-service programs for approximately 2,500 Secondary School Principals and assistant Principals. Provides professional growth and development opportunities that and are designed and programmed to address the diverse facets of middle and high School administration. Allows opportunities for attendees to collaborate and learn from quality professionals and others in the field to be effective leaders and to maintain continuing education credits.
Publications, communication, and counseling with members - the publications are resources of research and practical applications focused on the three r's: rigor, relevence, and relationships. Equally important is the integration of technologies as an effective strategy for instructions that increase engagement in teaching and learning. Publications are available in printed and electronic format and provide information on relevant topics related to principal and student leadership development that is practipal, effective, and motivational in rural, urban, and suburban School districts in Texas.
Tasc and tafe conventions and workshops - multiple conferences and workshops for approximately 5,000 middle level and high School students state-wide. These programs are led by experienced educators with a strong commitment to youth programs. Attendees acquire skills and techniques that develop their personal leadership strengths, which empowers them to lead effectively in their School and communities.
