Program areas at Habitat for Humanity - Warren County Habitat for Humanity
HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM Our homeownership program follows the principles developed by Habitat for Humanity International in building safe, decent housing for low income, working families who would otherwise not be able to afford a home. The homes are built with the families and sold to them at no profit and no interest. Warren County Habitat for Humanity constructed and dedicated two single family homes for four adults and four children in Franklin Township NJ. These were the 21st and 22nd homes completed by the affiliate. In addition, three new homes were started for an additional three families composed of four adults and six children. Two homes are in Franklin Township and the third in Phillipsburg, NJ, with one of the homes a Veterans Build. 6,788 volunteer hours were used in the home construction program.
