Program areas at American Coal Ash Association
Meetings and workshops - the Association sponsors educational meetings and workshops on topics related to the management and use of Coal combustion products (ccps), and provides training to ccp managers and other interested parties.
Member services - membership in the Association provides producers, marketers, and users of ccps with a unified industry voice helping to educate the public of the many beneficial uses of ccps in lieu of disposal. Membership also provides a forum for information exchange and networking, and a nationwide committee structure for technical issues, market awareness, and development.
Technical support and research - the Association provides support for the development, implementation, and continuation of effective programs for management and use of ccps.
Publications - in addition to the semiannual member magazine, "Ash at work", the Association publishes books, technical reports, pamphlets, and documents that describe the utilization and application of ccps.
