WE PUBLISHED MONTHLY EDUCATIONAL E-NEWS, A QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER, AND SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT, AND MADE DIGITAL EOE EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AVAILABLE IN SPANISH. APFED CELEBRATED NATIONAL EOSINOPHIL AWARENESS WEEK AND INITIATED SPECIAL LIGHTING OF OVER 70 LANDMARKS NATIONWIDE TO RAISE AWARENESS. WE CELEBRATED THE 2ND ANNUAL WORLD EOSINOPHILIC DISEASES DAY WITH GLOBAL PATIENT ADVOCACY GROUPS. APFED PARTICIPATED IN OPENING REMARKS FOR AN EOSINOPHIL CONFERENCE IN ROME TO EMPHASIZE COLLABORATION FOR IMPROVED PATIENT CARE. WE LAUNCHED A 6-MONTH EOE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN IN TIMES SQUARE, NYC, AND AWARDED THREE $1,000 college SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS WITH EOSINOPHILIC DISEASE. APFED JOINED THE VALUE BASED CHRONIC DISEASE COLLABORATIVE AND SERVED EXPERT FACULTY IN A SERIES OF ROUNDTABLES AND LIVE WEBCASTS FOR MANAGED CARE PROFESSIONALS TO EDUCATE THEM ABOUT EOE, CO-AUTHORING TWO RELATED ABSTRACTS THAT WERE PRESENTED AT THE AMCP NEXUS MEETING FOR MANAGED CARE PROFESSIONALS. Research: Apfed awarded two researchers each a $100,000 2-year research grant, awarded a $20,000 research grant to cegir to support eg research, provided $5,000 to support international eosinophil society professional symposium for researchers and clinicians, and awarded 3 separate $750 abstract awards. Apfed attended annual professional meetings of aaaai, acg, acaai, and virtually attended ddw to discuss patient needs with attendees and disseminate resources. Apfed co-authored 5 research posters that were presented at medical meetings, 4 manuscripts, and a rostrum that were published in medical journals. We informed patients of research opportunities, collaborated with cegir, maintained Partnership for the eosinophil.connect patient insights network, continued on steering committee for the egid partners registry, and participated in rdcrn cpag meetings.
