Ndsc resource center - the center is located in atlanta, Georgia, and serves as a National resource center for parents, professionals, and others seeking information about Down Syndrome. The center, which also houses the administrative offices for the Congress, is accessible via a toll-free phone number and web site, providing education, information, and referrals to interested parties. To further efforts to provide timely current information, the Congress also has a government affairs function. This function includes two representatives in Washington, d.c. who inform the membership of current legislative initiatives regarding Down Syndrome and related topics. The center also produces a quarterly newsletter, electronic newsletters, and periodic free webinars in english and spanish.housed within the National Down Syndrome Congress center, the ndsc center for outreach and education provides one-day seminars and conferences for parents, siblings and educators in locations around the country.
Convention - the Congress holds a convention each year at a different location in the united states with the purpose of educating parents and professionals, as well as self-advocates who have Down Syndrome, on current topics.
