Consumers are provided with support and assistance in the community. Non-traditional outreach is offered, as well as unique, specialized group services. Children's case management enables parents to become informed about resources and to be able to effectively advocate for their child. For children who need Mental Health treatment, case management specialists can assist the parent or caregiver, teach the family to maximize the benefits of the treatment and provide continuous assessment for service planning. In addition, the Behavioral Health homes program seeks to improve the coordination of physical and Behavioral needs of eligible adults and children.
